One of my best friends, an incredible conservation filmmaker and photographer. This portrait was made on film with my 120 Yashica during a trip looking for Quolls in Northern New South Wales. We connected first through Instagram, bonding over our shared experiences with chronic illness and our deep passion for wildlife and all things photography. That connection grew into a real-life friendship. Since then we have shared countless wild adventures, photographing all kinds of wildlife, from Tree Kangaroos in Far North Queensland, Powerful Owls in Brisbane and Koalas on the Gold Coast.
