A talented botanical artist whose work I admire deeply. We became friends through Instagram, bonding over our shared love of native wildflowers and our experiences with invisible chronic illnesses. I had the pleasure of documenting her reaction when she saw Christmas Bells for the first time. This was also the first day we met in person, and I took her on some of my favourite wildflower walks on the Sunshine Coast. We strolled slowly, laughing and sharing stories, creating a beautiful connection and friendship.
